princples learned:
1. we are born dependent on others. we need to work to obtain intradependence and then interdependence.
2. don't start with blame, start with, "what can i do to make the situation better?"
3. new qualifiers! sounds like..., it seems..., i'm guessing..., from my understanding..., what i'm getting..., etc.

apply these princples:
work on what i can do before i try to change what people are thinking or the way they are acting. always try to think what i can do to make the situation better.
